The Filthy Rich People in Singapore

It’s disgusting how some Singaporeans are so bloody rich. Fuck man. The amount of $$ they spent on building one of their many homes is simply too extravagant. For some, we may never be able to earn that kind of money in our lifetime.

Unfair?

Was at Sentosa Cove the other day doing visits (work related). Although the homes being built there is superbly nice, I cant help but to think is it all worthwhile, or rather, necessary to have a weekend, resort themed home? For the rich, yes. I can only dream to have one. I seriously do not believe that after the completion of the works there, the owners of the house will stay in there 24/7. More often than not, they will come during the weekends, or when they have a party to throw. The sea-view plots are all snapped up almost instantly. And the ones left are those which face PSA and some bushes. Sucks… It’s really a huge huge difference in price and the view and the kind of feeling at the various plots of land.

Went to 3 beautiful homes. Still under construction but almost 85% done up le. It’s amazing how the designers and architects can come up with the wonderful structure and overall theme and design of the house.

Fuck man. Every damn thing is big big in the house. Living room big, toilets SUPER BIG, swimming pool big… TMD. It’s just like staying at banyang tree lor, except that the view is a little obstructed with the vessels …. With private pool, Jacuzzi, sauna room.. steam bath.. gym room…wa lau eh.. I see liao I also drool lor. I WANT TO STAY THERE TOO!

1st House – Owned by some BIG BIG Shot. (sorry guys, cant reveal who)

1) bought 2 plots of land, side by side to construct a mega bungalow.
2) Estimated costs of this mega home : S$8mil
3) A mega long swimming pool on the right wing of the house, with reflective pool and a veranda for bbq purposes
4) The 3 bedrooms for the children are all pool facing with balconies
5) The master bedroom occupies the whole of 2nd floor of the left wing. Sea-view.
6) The bathroom is super big. I think it’s the size of living and dining room and one of my house’s bedroom combined. FUCK man it’s damn big lor.
7) Bathroom consists of 4 sections. First, an open space for the long-bath. Only above the bath tub is glass panel. The rest of the area is open space (no roof) according to the project manager, it’s for star watching while bathing. Second, it’s shower room. With shower heads and all… Third is the toilet… toilet bowl…. Basin… Lastly, it’s the walk-in wardrobe.
8) Basement for the maid. Full facilities like laundry area, maid’s room, toilet, and drying area.
9) Front car porch can house up to 4 cars.
10) There are a few trees blocking the ‘sea-view’ of the master bedroom. So guess what rich ppl can do? Pay $$ to get the management to remove/relocate the trees obstructing his view. Price to pay? $2,000 per tree. SICKO!!!!!!

2nd House – Owned by some BIG shot

1) Bought 1 plot of land
2) Estimated costs of this villa : S$4-5mil (including construction and building)
3) No swimming pool, but there’s a super long koi pool which runs the length of the entire house, by the side. (Wa she the koi very good life lor; heard that each kio cost $30k at least)
4) 5 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. 2 of which have full sea-view.
5) All rooms including the kitchen has a window with sea-view.
6) The whole of 3rd floor is the master bedroom. Sickeningly BIG and has a balcony cum attic structure. Something like a pool deck. On the deck itself is a Jacuzzi in the open with Great Sea-View. Just beside the Jacuzzi is a sauna room… and inside the bathroom in the master bedroom is a steambath room.

3rd House – Owned by some BIG shot

1) Bought 1 plot of land
2) Estimated costs of this vila : S$5mil
3) Very nice swimming pool. With special lighting effects. Little light bulb at the bottom of the pool so you’ll get a starry starry effect at night.
4) Nice front garden facing the sea, just beside the swimming pool for the owner’s children to play.
5) 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Of which the master bedroom is also on the 2nd floor. (Of course the master bedroom has the sea-view.
6) 3rd floor houses the family entertainment room Which leads to a balcony deck (like the previous one) with Jacuzzi in the open. Another study/computer room on the 3rd floor as well.
7) More family-themed design

All the houses described above are based on IceQueen’s observation as well as the information given by the project manager. All are official visits. Then we managed to sneak up to one of the completed house across the road. This one is owned by the man who owns our neighbouring country’s premier destination on the ‘hill’ (Smart enough to guess??) really quite nice, managed to catch a glimpse of the exterior.. and took some pics. Enough to make me melt though. See it for yourself……………. And the coolest part of it all… the ‘mini jetty’ you own right in front of your house. Leads direct to the swimming pool. Can imagine the interior of the house should be pretty extravagant as well… Heard that he intends to buy over the plot of land just beside his house… for the purpose of guess wad……. A Garden……. Gosh… buy a piece of land… for a garden??????? Man……………………………

Hai….. too bad, can only see… see no touch.. no use…. No stay….. HAI………………………… Rich People..

So which is your favourite??? I like number 1!!!!!! The bathroom is to die for…………. Bathe under the stars… even raining also not scared.. coz got glass panel… and you can see raindrops splattering all around you, ma chiam in the forest bathing! NICE!!! And the swimming pool!!!! And the reflection poo!!!!! ~~ Ooooohhh~~~ I dun mind being the maid .. I have the whole basement to myself lor!!! With full amenities…

Hahaha IceQueen going to Sentosa Cove again next week.. this time to the condominium developments, not the private property.. another different feel.. will blog on that next week after the visit.

Then we went on to a SUPER MEGA BUNGALOW at Nassim Road…. For those who do not know where the hell this is. All I can say this place is one of the finest private residential area in spore. Behind Botanical Gardens. Owned by a super Big Shot. Nothing much to describe about this site because it’s still in its preliminary stage of construction. Saw the plan though. Damn freaking big with a mega swimming pool. Again it has the design of a left and right wing.. really a villa. A few more months, we will go again to revisit this site and probably by then, there’ll be more to see.

On the way there, we passed by quite a few other homes. Each has it’s unique features and 4 out of 5 will have this runway which leads up to the house itself, with a little roundabout and a fountain. Very nice.. oh FYI… amongst the residents/owners are people like one of the top judge in spore, some big bankers, and ship making tycoon….. just to name a few……

Some insights to places normal people will not get to see! Interesting.. Envious?? Hahahah that’s about the only thing which is interesting about my job.. but yet again, construction sites are really dirty and dusty.. and it’s HOT HOT HOT. It’s like you get the premier of a movie like that. I get to see these beautiful places and the progress of it’s construction.

I went to another site, this time in Singapore. Also very very interesting.. No nice view though. Serious. It’s a construction site. BIG SCALE. It’s Kim Chuan Depot near Upper Paya Lebar. This place will house the new MRT trains for the Circle Line. Something like a bus depot. But this is a train depot. And guess wad.. I’m the privileged few who caught a glimpse of the new MRT train, used specially for the Circle Line in time to come. Exciting!! It’s pretty similar to the black ones who see now on the tracks..from france. This is a underground Depot.. and it can house up to 40 trains.. planning to double the figure… Was asking the project manager how on earth these trains get transported to the depot. He said using containers… … berth at a particular place in spore.. then transport to the depot.. and using very special containers.. it comes with a device which allows the train to “slide off’ the container onto the track.. Amazing. We kinda requested to grace the event when the next shipment comes, on a personal request basis that is.. and the Manager kinda agreed Yippeeee!! Then there is this structure being built underground inside the depot which stores the spare parts of the train. It’s a very very interesting structure.. something like a pigeon hole structure, mega structure.. very tall.. and it’s operated using some computer equipment and there’ll be this ‘catcher’ thingy to get the parts.

Planning to go to the place where aeroplanes take off and land next week also.. also another interesting site to visit. Hehehehhehehe..

Been visiting too many sites and admin work is piling in my tray back in office…. People, it’s not that fun to visit these sites ok, because after every visit we are supposed to produce reports on the findings and observations. The trick is: to take many many nice pics, so the pigs reading our report will be distracted!! And so the emphasis is not so much on the content of the report. That is to say, can anyhow write!! Hahahahahahah

On hand I’d just finished 2 reports, on the Sentosa Cove and Nassim Hill projects.. To lazy to write on Kim Chuan… Take a break first…

Pretty no government today in office. The adulterous pair went to China on a so called business trip… but God knows what they do at night la.. At least it’s very quiet in office today. Or rather, for the past 3 days… The 2 of them are seriously getting more and more out of hand. Anyway, I can’t be bothered le….. Unless they come up with funky stunts again…
